Day 3: Hitting the slopes

Fun and sun on the mountain

Another sunny day at Whistler. This morning we got up and went for stroll in Whistler Village to pick up groceries and a few souvenirs. Afterwards we came back to the condo, grabbed lunch and hit the slopes. Shannon had a half-day lesson with Santiago, one of Whistler's finest ski instructors. She had a great time and by the end of the day had mastered the pizza slice and riding the chair lift. Meanwhile, Madison and Nan sledded on a nearby slope and Dave went snowboarding at Blackcomb. We finished the afternoon at the hot tub and retired to a mellow evening of dining in, homework and Olympic TV. Resting up for two Olympic events starting early tomorrow. Cheers!

Hi Shannon
I like the pictures. How are you doing? Have you seen any of the sports yet?
